This must be the worst wine I have had in a long time. Unpleasant kero (like in a shipyard) with dizzying fumes of turpentine. Flat and flabby on the palate with a very unpleasant streak of bitterness throughout the palate. Hollow and dilute. This gave me a headache after 3 glasses. This reminds me of a lousy fruit beer that has lost its bubbles. Yucks. Maybe it was an off bottle but really bad experience for me.

Medium gold colour with hues of copper. Pronounced youthful aromas of tropical fruit, lychees most dominant. Off dry, medium acidity, medium body, 13% alcohol. floral and tropical fruit flavours on the palate. Medium plus length of finish. Spicy at its finish. Perfect with sweet and sour Asian food.

Intense nose with ripe tropical fruit, apples, yellow plum, petrol (actually a newborn's slightly dirty diaper), honeysuckle, vanilla. On palate, dry, with the acid hidden a bit under the fruit, light astringency, med complexity.

(2+) Drank with dinner at Legal Seafood in Boston. Went very well with lobster. Very fresh and spicy - I really enjoyed this. A little more spice or character would have pushed the score higher.

Extremely flamboyant nose of pineapples, honey and lychee. Quite dry and a bit stern on the palate. Not quite enough fruit to compensate for the acids. A bit light.

Very perfumey nose screams LYCHEE. Lemon yellow in color, vanilla and lychee flavors, grapefruit on finish, decent acidity, round mouthfeel

Had a taste. Nice, but can't judge this beyond that as I'm a complete amateur when it comes to gewurtztraminer
