Fragrant nose of light red fruits, spice and perfume. Supple, silky and light bodied on the palate. Elegant but traditional. More fresh lighter red fruit and excellent minerality with silky tannin and beautiful acidity

A bit cloudy in the glass. The nose horse stable combined with sweets and flowers like roses. In the mouth wel balanced. Sweet amd sour. The finish takes minutes.

Felt guilty popping open an '05 Grand Cru, but this was surprisingly open for business. This wine was all about its silky texture, pure streaks of berries, and some very pretty secondary notes. Undulating layers if that makes any sense. Haunting aromatics on the nose. Hope I'm lucky to come across this again when it has another 10+ years of age...

Truchot and others (Chez Blach): This shows that Truchot could do fine, elegant and expensive tasting with the rest of them, the fruit quite glossy, and way more expressive than the villages - brilliant and sophisticated

Cream aromatics that remind me of some Rousseau. Very young.

Malconsorts dinner with Zachys crew - also 05 Truchot CC, 99 Selosse, 90 Jadot BM & etc. (Blue Duck Tavern - Washington D.C.): Expressive but a bit murky nose displaying ripe red fruit, cherry compote, a hint of animal and earth. Excellent concentration, slightly chunky ripe red fruit, medium acidity, medium mineral and a medium red fruit and earth driven finish. Has the bottle been shaken a bit?

NR. Slightly corked. Wasnt overt but it was there. Unfortunate. Underneath there were cherries, red fruits. This was youthful but tainted.
