  • At Blue Point Grill (Princeton) with Tim, Renata, Jen & I: A lovely white wine -- just perfect with the various fish dishes, with a little spice / seasoning, such as the calamari
and the jalapeno and lime-grilled shrimp. Very tasty.

  • This was delicious. Ripe fruit, great mouthfeel. A big almost bombastic white wine. Loved it.

  • golden color with green reflexes. Nice nose, but not too aromatic. On the palate, full bodied with the alcohol coming though, very viscous, good mouthfeel. Less balanced than what I had in mind, a bit too heavy (alcoholic) for me to be great. Still a very good wine.

  • A wine from Austria’s youngest wine growing area Wagram (former Donauland). An interesting wine, but not the most typical Grüner Veltliner. Brilliant pale straw in color. A grassy nose laden with aromas of melon, pear, apple fruit and also some honey. A very elegant wine, round on the palate, with ripe exotic fruit and a moderate acidity. Quite alcoholic. Medium finish.

Tamelijk alcoholrijk. Redelijk lange afdronk.

  • Delicious and balanced, although not currently showing a strong GV character. This tasted almost like an Alsacian pinot gris with an extra helping of acidity and minerality. Excellent right now, but I'm curious about how it will age. Great value.

  • Much more reminiscent of a German riesling than an Austrian GV. Amazingly complex flavors and aromas of Honey and flowers but way too much sweetness for me. All the good GV's I've had in my travels to Austria were much drier than this.

  • color; medium gold-green
    aromas; melon, mango, vanilla, tobacco
    flavors; honey, cantelope, tea

came back to this after a day sitting opened on the table, and that seemed to take away all the bitter acid chemical I was getting after just opening.
    silky, smooth, enjoyable

  • At dinner with Haakon, Antonio, Jiayue & Jen. With seafood. Best with the breaded sole.
Dry but fruity at the same time, with decent complexity. We had in chardonnay glasses ...
although I think that is the wrong type. Worth a rebuy.
