A very good wine that deftly avoids the excesses of much New World (and especially NZ) SB. Mildly grapefruity nose, latent frizzante quality on entry (pleasingly softened by bottle age), good minerality and length. Nothing exotic; a classy value for the money (I paid $10).

Crisp acidity and citrus flavours dominate. The finish is quite pleasant, with wet stones and unripe apples. Great on a warm day with olive bread and mozzarella. I'm guessing that it would also be a good match for white fish in a light sauce.

Nice wine. Not significantly different than prior bottle, so here's what I wrote on 11/10/2008 - Clear, light yellow-green color. Nose is very similar to NZ sauv blanc with primarily fresh lemon & grapefruit aromas. Light bodied with good fruit balancing out the crisp acidity. Interesting palate of green apple & citrus with some nice lingering minerality at the finish

pretty harsh on opening, but with a little time it mellowed out and became an enjoyable wine. Classic cat pee SB with grapefruit and lemon notes.

Subtle nose but a powerful palate with load of lime and tangy fruit. Solid finish and overall fresh acidity makes this a nice summer wine.

Enjoyable, but to my surprise more like a white graves table wine than like a NZ sauvignon blanc.

After three bottles shared this past gorgeous weekend, the consensus is a higher rating. Great summer wine!

lychee, lemon peel and green veggie note at end. 13% alcohol make it an easy sip on a hot day.
