From Steve's Cellar - PnP - paired with some Thai food which probably overpowered the wine a bit but nonetheless... a nice nose of stone and grass with a good bite of acidity. Drinking well now.

Still austere with mineral and citrus for nose and palate yet there as a density that stays through a food accompaniment "like an arrow" I think it's at or a little past peak.

Pop and pour, as per usual. Palest of straw color. Mineral and citrus nose. Sharp flavors of lemon, steel and spice and a lush, long finish. Slightly hot at the end. Two hours later the hot finish is gone. I wish they made more than a couple of hundred cases.

Chablis Grand Cru chez Daniel Boulud (at the restaurant): This has a superbly elegant and interesting nose: grass, wet stone, exciting things happen to the aromas during the whole evening, including as the wine warms up to room temperature. In the mouth this is the most light of all the grand crus tonight; like an arrow, that's how structured and tight this is on the palate. Lovely.

La Paulée de NY Verticals Tasting (Kimpton Hotel Eventi): 10/09/05 Very similar signature to the '11 and '10, but showing more mature fruit. Still fresh, but I don't think I'd hold this much longer. Good now. 90-91

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Still nicely fresh for its age with apple and pear. Good weight and balance. I was told another bottle was more advanced, this this bottle was fun.

Quick Impressions from the 2019 La Paulée Verticals Tasting (Eventi Hotel, New York): Full yellow. Truffle aromas. Full bodied, mushroomy, and short. Terribly advanced and over the hill. I did not have a chance to go back and taste another bottle. Too bad since the younger ones wereso good.
