Great floral notes, with fleshy fruits, apricot, melon, and some citrus. On it's own, it's a bit sweet, but eat some scallops with risotto and corn salsa, and it's awesome

Drank over 2 days. Not an extremely aromatic wine, but it did show some flowers, tropical melons and lemon zest. Taste followed the nose, with stone fruits and lemon rind coming on strong in the finish. On the second day it also picked up some secondary spice characteristics that I couldn't quite place, but it really added another layer of flavor. This is head over heals better than the Casa Santinamaria Vineyard Semillon from this same producer that we had a few weeks ago, and for the same money, I prefer this by a long shot.

Others seemed to feel this wine was excellent both chilled and at room temp. so I popped and poured after maybe 20 minutes in the fridge, temp was probably 60 - 65 degrees. At that temp, for me, the wine was disappointing. Not much bouquet and on the palate, it was poorly balanced, with far too much tartness, completely hiding the fruit. The finish was particularly poor.. far too tart for me.
Set it aside, hoping it would improve as it warmed up a bit. 15 minutes later, no improvement except for slightly better bouquet. OK, back in the fridge.... this wine has to be better than this.
Fifteen or twenty minutes later and maybe 10 degrees colder (maybe 55 degrees?), the wine was much better. There was that wonderful bouquet of pear, honeysuckle and some flintiness. On the palate, the entry is excellent, showing the luscious mouthfeel everyone talks about, and the fruit is there as well. I don't get the flintiness, but maybe some mineral. But the velvety mouthfeel is what sets this wine apart for me.
And the finish is very nice and very long, with an added noted of lemon that was a nice surprise.
This is a very well made and somewhat complex wine, as expected.

Opened this to pair with a homemade mac n cheese. Light yellow color. Very expressive nose with hints of tropical fruit, some freshly cut flowers and a slate/mineral component. Some apricot and citrus flavors on the palate. Very creamy and lush mouthfeel with a hint of residual sweetness. The acid level seemed a little out of balance though and the finish didn't really do much for me but still a very nice bottle of wine from a grape varietal that doesn't get enough press in the US............

Exceptional. We started this bottle with Thanksgiving dinner and finished it two days later. Let it warm up, the peach and tropical notes come out. Sharp acidity. Just lovely. It even went well with apple pie and vanilla ice cream.

Sweeter than I normally expect from semillon. Makes a great aperitif but careful what food you pair it with. I think this would go well with spicy food, similar to riesling and gewurz. Color: pale gold Nose: lemon, almonds, maybe some fig Taste: Really rich mouthfeel and sweetness upfront, with good acidity on the finish. Long lively finish.
I really enjoyed this wine. Probably can hang around for a few years since it's got a lot of body and acidity, but probably won't get much better.

Color: Yellow/gold Nose: Very sweet: Key lime and honeysuckle, with ripe apple. Taste: Round and soft, tart, but not all that dry. Rhubarb and light apricot, with notes of honeydew. Finish: Very smooth, with lingering tartness and some grapefruit. This was a really excellent wine! Enjoyed it tremendously, and wish I had purchased a few myself... thanks ThatGuy!

Pale, pure yellow, like a pinot grigio, in appearance.
Crisp and bright nose; citrusy acidity, a hint of sparkle, minerals.
Tasted, wow. Much sweeter - a semisweet, almost - richer. Gorgeous, velvety mouthfeel and luscious full body for a white - amazing. No sparkle, but a glow of ripe fruits, almost like eisswein. APRICOT, white peach and ripe apple notes, as well as some juicy dripping pear and pineapple. A few refreshing grassy notes offset the deep fruit. Some heat in the nose, but not unpleasantly, just a bit forceful. Acidity is soft, subdued, and those mineral notes I sniffed must be entirely overwhelmed by the overripe fruit. This is like a Chardonnay in body and depth, but with intense syrupy fruit instead of oak in the flavour profile, and just well...many times better (I dislike Chardonnay). Typically, I like very light whites, but colour me converted!
Note: I drank half the bottled, corked it, and 48 hours later drank the rest. Despite being kept in my fridge and corked the entire time, it aged quite poorly, becoming quite unpleasantly acidic and vinegary, though it was still drinkable. I also think this would be great for cooking, with chicken especially.

Drank at woot Sip & Sail on 7/18.
Consistent with my 6/5 notes except it was good right from the start as it was well chilled.

Very nice wine, tropical fruits mixed with a slight nuttiness made this an all-around pleasant white.
