Nose of currant, cassis, blackberry, black cherry and oak. Still very fruit forward and probably needs more time in the decanter. Not perfectly balanced, decent structure and medium + finish.

This needed some time to open and show its blackberry fruit and subtle, pretty secondary notes. I tasted this on release and remember something along the lines of the other reviews. Tonight, there was a little something missing and I was left waiting for it to show up.

Oaky? Yes, no doubt. But this has exceptonal depth and fruit quality. The oak subsides with air, but its certainly readily upfront. This has enormous depth, but not over extracted to the point of Aussieland. For me, i'd go 91, but more upside if it comes into balance. 91-93(upside potential for some). This has the solid acidity and fruit to make non-oak-phobes still be impressed. This has time left for 5+.

Dark and massive! I get olive tapenade and pronounced sweetness on the nose. Tons of flavors; earth/mineral, dark berries, cassis, along with a fair amount of oak. Very big, very new world, and very good. Excellent aging potential. 93+ points.

Opened and poured into the decanter. Good thing. Definitely sediment there. Also allowed some of the oak to blow off...or the fruits to bloom. Espresso and black fruits on the nose, but overpowered by the oak. Smooth and enjoyable, not a fruit bomb. Will the oak integrate before I kill the last bottle?

Huge red fruit and a big round mouth feel with an elegant transition to minerality and lively licorice, spice and earthiness. The finish is long and very smooth with well developed silky tannins.

Big, soft but over extracted fruit / grip on the back took away. Black fruit - black berry, oak and black pepper.

A very nice wine. Nice nose. Smooth. A hint of sweetness. Drank very well. Asian spice/nose. You can do a lot worse. Drank in Albany with kenv.

Nice wine, but this didn't come across as polished and balanced.

Smooth and silky, tannins seem completely integrated. There were notes of caramel, and lush dark fruit.

Big Napa cab! Great depth, with layers of earth, supple dark fruit, and some oak on the finish. Wonderful mouthfeel.

My last bottle of this. Same as the previous bottle. Wife could drink it regularly, but too much oak for me.
