Accompanied a bbq rib eye, the Tuscans have their Florentine (T-bone). Anyway , by repute, 2005 not the best year, but as is often the case a lesser vintage is brilliant with food. This is v.good Classico and I paid 13. 50 €, about £10, for it in the Greve Enoteca last year. It's most important characteristics are the velvety feel and lovely nose. It melts into the food. Drink this now.

A pleasant, medium bodied, food friendly wine, nice with pasta but nothing special. Fairly priced at $20, but not a bargain and I'll not buy more.
