More savory herb than fruity at this point, but still delicious. Plenty of time left for the well-stored bottle. Need to talk Ron into selling me some more.

Needed some Pinot and this fit the bill. Better than I remember the previous bottles with a bit more depth here. One bottle left, and this has been a stellar purchase! thedrunkencyclist.com

Rusty garnet. Strawberry, cinnamon, and baking spice nose. Medium bodied, raspberries, candied cranberries, well integrated tannins, a bit of herbaceousness, and a long, nicely sweet and dry finish. Still excellent, but somewhat more subtle than before.

We have had this numerous times now and we like it, but not much more. I said to my wife that this reminded me a bit of my high school girlfriend--nothing all that special, but pleasant and you knew what you were going to get. My wife did not appreciate the analogy even after I added "I knew what I was going to get, but it was not all that much!" thedrunkencyclist.com

We have had several of these now and this was the first that was corked. It was not overpowering, but unmistakably off. I managed to polish off most of the bottle, however, watching my pathetic team lose again. turns out the wine was better than the game. By a lot. thedrunkencyclist.com

PnP: Initially slightly sweet from medicinal-ish fruit but combined with earth and mushroom to round it out. Nice.
After being open for an hour or so it's lost a bit of that sweet medicinal quality and is getting even better. This is good now with 45+ minutes of air (in bottle) but will likely improve for 2-3 more years yet.

I picked a couple of cases of these up from the PLCB for the insane price of $12 (plus tax). I wanted a case for myself and got another case for friends. I might keep both cases. Good fruit and enough complexity to keep you interested, this is a good deal at $20 and a complete steal at $12. Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

Ruby red with brown tinted edges. It had aromas of red fruit/strawberries. It was medium bodied, smooth with a little sharp acidity on the edges. It had flavors of strawberries and cherries. The finish was medium and easy. This is more of the dry Pinot that I prefer...more rich red fruit on a light background than having floral notes

Nose of wild strawberry, milk chocolate, and a complex spicy herbal theme throughout. Flash of zingy acidity in early palate, then opens to juicy strawberry, black cherry, chocolate, and smoke. Very good. 91-92 points.

Ever so slightly brown-tinted burgundy, dark yet translucent. Strawberry, fresh mountain forest, and lovely spices on the nose. Medium bodied, almost candied cherries (I mean this in a good way - sweet but not cloying), cranberries, eucalyptus, baking spices, good acid, smooth tannins, and a medium to long finish. Elegant and delicious.

PnP. Reddish brown color. Darker than many PNs I've had. Strawberry on the nose. Strawberry and cherries on the palate, with strawberries most prevalent. Little spice, not much tannins left. Richer mouthfeel with more weight than most PNs I've had. Good bottle. 88pts. Aloha!

Rich and creamy, with dark fruit colors of deep garnet and a palate of strawberry and black cherry compote. Wouldn't suggest further bottle age, as tannins and acidity are dropping away. Medium-long finish.

after 30 minutes of decanting the nose was very dull - slight hints of sour cherry and plastic (?); wine was tight and a bit hot so after one glass and about 90 minutes of decanting I poured back into the bottle and plugged. 24 hours later the wine has opened up considerably, showing strawberry fruit roll-up on the nose and some subtle but nice flower fragrance. Better balance and integration and the fruit has (barely) beat the oak and alchohol to the finish line.

Richness of fruit seems to be dumbing down a bit right now, but after a couple of hours of air the wine comes back into balance, but much flatter than previous bottles we've consumed.

Medium-dark in glass, with complex nose--some barnyard initially, blows off in about 10 minutes. Good example of red and black fruit on palate, still drinking young, but very complex and structured, with good balance. Should be perfecting in 2010.

No notes but an enjoyable wine right from the bottle, ready to go with ample and accessible fruit. Cola, cherry, plum, spice. Nice on its own or with food. I had it with friends in Rhode Island, and it paired with lobster salad just fine.

Cherry, strawberry and mineral on the nose which transfers to the palate but alcohol overwhelms both. Much better Pinots out there for the same price.
