What a wine! Surely the best value wine in the world. Although I am more taken with Burgundian chardonnays that have a lot less oak than "new world" oaky chardonnays such as this, it is still a wonderful wine. We had it with halibut cooked in a fish stock with fennel root, and a little pernod, along with zucchini. Just a great combination of food and wine. But sipping the wine beforehand was wonderful, too.

Pineapple and pear flavors and a buttery texture that comes from oak barrel fermentation. $10 makes this a great value.

Had this in the past and really enjoyed. This is past its prime.

I am not a Chard fan so my score is probably lower than others. It was heavily oaked with vanilla notes. My wife loved it though. 86-87 points.
