Enjoyed with some wonderful cheese, a great burger and a Notre Dame victory. I was pleasantly surprised by this wine given its age. Very much California style of red fruit with a little hint of "candied." Ruby red in color and with some air it began to show a richness and texture. The finish was quite good. If you have any left, get ready for a wonderful experience.

Although this bottle doesn't represent pinot noir in the style I enjoy more, it is a fine bottle. . .except for the fruit flavors, more like merlot. Very smooth texture, well-integrated tannins. A very nice bottle of wine.

Slow-O 1 hour, served non-blind. Color lacks some brilliance; confirmed by the nose, it's time to drink up. Assertively feminine build, avg+ acidity, resolved tannins and etOh. Excellent food wine, and above-average purity of fruit. Good to very good and a suitable companion for crispy duck. No need to wait if it's still in your cellar, not getting better.

Not as strong as earlier bottles. Opened and decanted, but seemed to need a lot more air time. A bit tight, hot on the finish, fruit was hanging back. Really paled compared to a younger DuMOL Estate Pinot, albeit one that had much more decanting time.

This is thick and syrupy, dense and chewy, sappy and extracted. Popped and poured. At first, the alcohol is aggressive and not altogher pleasant. With some air, it gained weight, and some sappy fruit cut through the alcohol. At the end, this is a racy wine, and a fair amount of fun, I'll admit. But it's not Pinot, in my book.

Great wine. Too young. Decanted for an hour, improved with air. The bouquet was great right out of the bottle. The red fruit is amazing. On the palate the air improved the fruit. Extraordary finish that goes on and on. I bet the rating and the mid palate goes up with a little time.

Pleasingly soft and fruity. Not Pinot Noir as I prefer, but a nice glass of wine anyway.

Still a whole lot of fruit going on, which made the extract and alcohol levels tolerable.

Last minute addition to the line-up so it was only decanted for 20-30 minutes. Most likely need more air as the fruit was very hidden.

Aired out for about 45 minutes. Delicate fruit aroma and very satisfying finish. Hard to beat from my experience with CA wines.

Hot sweet bitter simple. Also put me in a bad mood - I suspect there are nasty additives.

Excellent pinot, nicely balanced, a lot of red fruit. Very bright and fresh. Glad I have two more bottles.
