Slightly deep garnet with no rim browning. White pepper, menthol, mushroom. Low acids, low tannins. Clove. Medium balanced finish. Vertical at our house

Good from the pop but continued to swell over the next 4 hours. Still a pitch black violet color with very slow legs and moderate sediment. Profound nose of precious oils and florals, leather, and steel shavings. Beautiful, mature texture and tannins with lots of fruit left in the profile. Very persistent and long on the finish with probably another 5+ years worth of peak performance left in the tank. Really great/borderline spectacular. 5+13+18+8= 94

Deep dark ruby color with a touch of brown on the edges, tobacco, leather and red currant smells, smooth taste, very dry finish of a nice Cabernet, the wine was great with a grilled ribeye.

Beautiful and bright fresh bloody water color. Distant cinnamon and cloves mixed with red fruit and a touch of vanilla on the nose. Notes of raspberries, blackberry bramble, and strong, gripping tannins that indicate a longer life ahead of this wine that I would have guessed - five more years of drinkability at a minimum.

This wine is under several names in Cellar Tracker. This California "Super Tuscan" blend is 74% Cab, 14% Sangiovese and 12% Merlot. So you find reviews under Cabernet and Sangiovese. The wine is good to very good representation of an Italian ST but the Napa Cab comes through as the leader so the structure is less tannic (softer) than its Italian inspiration. The Berries and Current elements are strongest. The nose is subdued. Enjoyed the wine with a home made veggie pizza and it paired well with the cheeses, eggplant, mushroom and pesto elements. I think it would also do well with any red sauce.

Beautiful deep purple blood red and nice nutmeg scent. A bit bitter and sweet at the same time at first but opens up nicely an mellows with decanting and time Not worth the price of $68 though.

An excellent Super Tuscan style wine. It probably has more years to go and will hold, but it is also drinking well now. Good balance of fruit and tannin. Sangiovese gives it a nice brightness and the Cab/Merlot give it depth.

Paired with short ribs, this was an exceptional wine. Deep, Dark, full bodied and very smooth. A blend of blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese, you experienced wild berry, mocha, currant and spicy black pepper. My favorite wine of the evening

Absolutely delicious! Big mouthfeel, lots of unctious fruit, great blend of Cab, Sangiovese, & Merlot. Hate to see this one end.
