Wonderful wine fine color big complex nose cherries, berries figs pine cinamon alspice chocolate, in the mouth wonderful complex flavors and extra long finish, started with 14 bottles and this is my last, certainly was worth cellaring this even though not their top of the line. $19 when purchased

Nice bottle of wine but heading towards the tired side. Nose was a little funky at first but blew away after 30 minutes. Showed some cherries, wet saddle and spice. Wine was a little thin but fruit was still present along with hints of oak. No tannins to speak of and the finish was short but pleasant.

I am posting this about a month after we drank it but there was certainly lots of life left in this teenager. Not even bricking on the edge of the glass. Very expressive dark fruits. Balanced and never let up during the evening.

Bright color with no trace of brown, dusty Napa Valley nose, and full flavors of fruit, spices and surprisingly lively tannins. Didn't seem 16 years old by any stretch...served with grilled filet and root vegetables, and as the post-holiday family meal progressed, the smooth flavor and finish distinguished this wine: no bumps, heat or tartness, just gentle acids at the finish--vey special indeed.

($60) Napa-Noma Trip: 7% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot. Slightly mature tasting, but still retains dry herb and strawberry fruit. Soft red fruit. A bit thin. Earth and tobacco. Pretty tasty, bit intellectual.

Solid wine with brick colored rim, medium-high acid, old world style, showing it's age as slightly past peak, delicious well made wine.

Very smooth but past its prime...would have love to have tried this 5-8 years ago.

Very average (if not a hair below). FIrst instincts were disappointing. However, in time it became decent.

Nice, but the fruit has faded a bit much. Still nice medium mouth-feel.
