OK, its only been open an hour, but here's where it stands now. Bright red fruits on the nose, actually beautiful. On the palate, somewhat subdued very much like a young red burg from 2004 - great acidity, great fruit, tight but good structure, good mid palate, somewhat short finish. All in all, a very decent American Pinot, and very typical of Anderson Valley fruit.

Found on the clearance rack, almost always disappointed by those, but this came through... was much nicer than I expected. Bright red fruits, smooth finish, very light. Not very complex, but would be happy to purchase again.

Impressive effort that still offers rich nose with cherry and floral elements. Took some time in the glass and a bit of air to unfold. Great red fruit profile with some savory elements and noted for a great mouthfeel and delivery. The wine seems fully integrated and offered a hint of rich fruit and a nice, lasting finish. Delicious.

Floral scents of rose predominate with undercurrents of cherry and savory herbs. Flavors of cherry and cherry tomato delivered on a savory frame. Some spice, boldness and rich flavors. Firm on the mid-palate and finish after a soft entry. Bright acidity and fine-grained tannins.

Cellar Rats do 2007 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir: Ripe, rich nose of red apple and flowers. The palate echoes the red apple along with hard spice, meat, and a texture that is rich though balanced by a savory edge. Long finish with no heat. The whole-cluster is noticeable in the tannins, which help to dry out the rich/ripe red fruit. My #3 as well as the group's.
