Consistent with previous note, saved it for our 10th Anniversary and it did not disappoint! Sad it was our last bottle, definitely one of the best U.S. sparkling wines we've had.

yes! i assume this was made from chardonnay, because while most of the bubbles dissipated quickly the lingering honeyed earth and stone fruit essences of aged chard were fresh and linear. good!

Corks: Pinot (Rossford, OH): Great age. Perfect acidity, not as effervescent (which I like), not super bready. Very classy, beat out the two actual Champagnes at the tasting.

Pale yellow/stray color, very delicate bubbles, dry, good balance not too acidic, citrus flavors, some mineral on the finish, a wonderful bubbly! One of the best I've ever had...highly recommend!

This is the best champagne I've had in recallable memory. Wonderful creamy thick vanilla chardonnay softened and nuanced by the most delicate and feminine and Russian-doll-like bubbles that just dance on the now-awakened pallette. I couldn't believe this was only 13 years old...and am SO glad I have another bottle I can open in another 13 years!

@ Blackfish foie gras dinner, lovely pa;e yellow with aromas of lemon peel and yeast. Dry to taste with yeast and a baked apple taste. Medium bodied and very nice.

Pale yellow in color with a good mousse and pin tip streamers that persist. Aromas of citrus and florals. Citrusy lemon peel at the front, honey dust, finishing with complex angel food cake essence. This specimen is bone dry exhibiting outstanding champagne characteristics tasting fresh and vibrant for it's age. I highly recommend this, especially to the discerning snob.

Delightful sparkling. Surprisingly good. Pale gold, balanced, great bead, dry with florals and honey. I would certainly buy more of this.

This really was quite tasty. Wish we had more. Certainly a champagne style, not terribly yeasty, good flavors.
