Fifth bottle, second note, and first in about a year. Still a lighter rose petal color that starts with a floral delicate nose. Some smoke, strawberry and musty wood mixed in. Not a rich style; to the contrary light and precise for a pinot with moderate acidity. Good with food. Medium finish.

Fourth bottle this year, and first note(one bottle seemed distinctly off). Pale light rose red. A delicate floral gentle wine, with rose petal, strawberries, light cherries and moderate acidity and a nice sense of ground. Light spice. Medium finish.

How can the same wine tasted two months from someone else (see budhaus' 2/8/10 notes) be so totally different? This bottle is so totally overpowered by reduction, on the nose and in the mouth, that it isn't worth trying to describe what lies behind or beneath it. Absolute waste of money.

Popped and poured, smell of fresh rose petals, bright cherry and mushroom/ very smooth and restrained, carries a hint of coconut and toast on the palate, cherry all the way through the finish. 13.0% ABV. Really enjoyed this.

Light in color with dried cherry and baking spice on the nose. Bright finish and went well with grilled salmon.
