1st few minutes quite muted and soft. Nothing standing out, aside from some tart cranberry and green raspberry. Decanting whole bottle.
After decanting for 90 min this wine opened up somewhat. My wife noted green olives, and more earthy undertones. A decent wine, more leather and mossy wood than fruit but still.nice with a cigar or pasta.

Very resolved and probably a year or two plus past its prime in terms of fruit. Wanted to have this at Easter but other wines were poured. Anyway it was smooth and structured and quite drinkable with decent varietal character and not OTH.

Correct but not intense color and a slightly closed but typical nose. This is a modest Bordeaux and with good acid balance, resolved but present tannins, and a slightly briary and tannic linger. Probably as good as it gets in terms of development, am adding the other bottle in the cellar to my Easter lunch list to go with lamb. It won't be the star of the day but a nice little chorus to an Opus One.

Classic Bordeaux nose. The Cabernet comes through with cranberry notes. As it opens up a nice balanced raspberry and cream note with some light tobacco hints. On taste good fruit with cranberry hints. Excellent balance with the acidity and flavors. Good finish. Very balanced wine but the tannins are still a bit strong. Could probably use more aging to mellow them out.

Nice, classic "claret". Pleasant nose of dark fruits, some animals, cedar and cassis. This improves significantly after few hour in the glass. On the palate, dark fruit, cranberries, cedar, some herbal elements, light-to-medium body, great acidity and medium tannins, medium finish. Very good food wine and pleasant overall. Only 12.5% which makes it easy to drink.

Fairly tart straight out of the bottle. Opened up after a bit to be a bit more balanced. Good, but not remarkable.

Nice open black fruit nose. Decent acidity, mid-grained tannins and some fruit left. Not greatly balanced though and not much intensity or length.

Quite strong smell. Thick, with little tannin. Can last for a few days to enjoy.

A pretty standard medium bordeaux. Not too exciting but nothing bad.
