Honestly, this could go another 5-10 years minimum before being over the hill for me. 92 at a minimum with 1-2 points upside for possible graceful aging.

Peaking now and throwing a heck of a sediment. The fruit is starting to fade and the secondary flavors are good, but not as exciting as when the wine was young.

At Agricola with Valerie, decanted for about 30 minutes prior to going to the restaurant.
Consistent with prior notes, this one stemmed a little more alcoholic than the previous bottle. Still very nice, will continue to improve, benefits from a longer decant

No decant, opened for grilled steak, salad and corn crema (from Marc Vetri's Rustic Italian cookbook). Beautiful deep purple color, huge nose right out of the gate, that mellows in about 30 minutes. Nose reminds me of an 06 Buccella I tasted recently.
Wine exceeded expectations, the winery considers Treva's Vineyard to be their premier wine but this one has some guts as well. Very big and luscious mouth-feel as other tasters have pointed out. Tannins still present but starting to mellow. Long 30+ second finish.
Classic big California Cab. Black fruits, cassis, spice, chocolate. Has a sweetness underlying the wine that is unique. Drinking beautifully now, has a way to go if you are inclined to lay it down.

A Weekend of Excess; 7/24/2009-7/25/2009 (Chicago/Northbrook, IL): Deep purple color. A very "culty" nose. Sweet red/black fruits (currant, Berry, rhubarb) with lots of vanilla and sweet oak. A super lush mouthfeel with good acidity and very fine tannins. Nice finish. Very well made wine.

Phil's MONUMENTAL 33rd Birthday Wine Tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): Fruity, jammy and racy in style compared to others at the tasting (duh).
Dark spicy black cherries with lots of heat on the nose.
Some shroomyness on the back end with some cool Cali dust.
Strong acidity with young tannins.
