Came out of the cellar a little cold. Needed 30 minutes to warm up. Then just got better with more air. Initially not much on the nose but with air and temp spices and minerality emerged. Good clean red berries, some purple fruits, spices and violets. Didnt have the depth of great Ech but was very enjoyable.

Burgundy 2007 (Chez moi): Very clean, clean, feminine fruit; precise, not broad. Opens with air, but never really lifts off, remains quite discrete - wait for this, I think. 92+

Bobby Kacher Dinner (Chicago, IL): A bit bubble gummy in its youth. Heady, with floral and spice notes, and showing little Echezeaux earthiness. Firm but full. Enjoyable.

Red fruit, forward and soft. Drinking wonderfully now. Perhaps just lacking some mid palate weight. But overall very enjoyable. 91-92

Bobby Kacher Dinner at Knightsbridge (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Lots of red fruit with some good anise aromas. Same red cherry flavors with good structure. Moderate length.
