  • A delicious wine which wants a bit more time.

    Deep opaque ruby/purple.

On the second day, a glass which had been out for 18 hours was picked up by a beer person who exclaimed, “My god thats good, like black cherry and vanilla soda!”

I mumbled something about oak and— well, you get the idea. Very strong stuff. ‘My god that’s good’ works for me here...

  • Inky in color, with dark purple accents, explosive scents of licorice, vanilla, black cherry, truffle, blueberry, jam, smoke and wet earth fill your glass. Powerful, full bodied and concentrated with massive layers of dense, ripe, sweet, black and blue fruits, this California, Cabernet Sauvignon coats your palate with flavor. Intense, yet balanced, packed and stacked, but not quite over the top, there is a lot going on in this stunning wine.

  • Yes very young, but really didn't live up to the hype and expectations. Was tasted blind against an 07 Colgin IX, 07 Dana Lotus and 07 Kapcsandy Grand Vin. While none of the 4 bottles blew any of us away, this bottling ranked last amongst the entire group.

  • Very youthful ruby color, very extracted, but holding it together. Bitter chocolate, and cassis as well as stony fruits. Quite impressive in size, and I think it has the balance and stuffing to really improve with time, gaining focus and clarity. At this point more impressive than enjoyable, but I don't intend to damn this wine with faint praise, just that the size and extraction at this point are the most memorable aspects of the wine. 93++pts.

  • Intense with a laser like finish of red fruit, bittersweet chocolate and long lenght. Still not fully unraveled, of course, but the guts are there and so is the budding intensity.
