Light to medium gold. Nose of flint, lemon peel, grapefruit, granny apple, oyster shell, white flowers. Taut, crisp layers of tart citrus, steel bead, apple core, and pebble on the palate. Bracing acidity and steely spine. Long finish of quenching white grapefruit and chiseled stony grip. Delicious with seafood salad.

Better than the bottle tasted in April, this one's just that little bit more tense and less flabby. Lemon, mineral, salt, crispy acidity, nicely refreshing if not hugely profound.

Opens slowly to show good purity, good typicity and decent power and concentration. Not truly fetching though, this is instead a good enough bottle that while "quite good" fails to really captivate in any way. Perhaps better in a year but I doubt it will ever be anything epic. The second night shows much the same, lots of cut but not enough concentration or complexity to really entrance. Simply good / serviceable but nothing really noteworthy.

Light yellow, color, chalky flinty nose with acidy yellow fruits, seems more tight and compact on the nose than on the palate. In the mouth its perfectly fine but it lacks the broad cut of acidity across the palate that I'd hoped for and in that sense the mid palate is a bit flabby. With a moment's reflection, I think "perfectly fine" sums it up succintly. Neither good nor bad, just ho-hum. A summer, pool-side wine, I don't see age doing much to this to define it further.

On the palate quite stony but tasting of diesel and virtually devoid of fruit. Something off here.

Floral and flinty aromas. Middle weight, nice mineral and acid backbone. Help up very well overnight in an open bottle. Unmistakeably Chablis.

Very nice Chablis crisp and clean. Nothing to fall head over heels and presents good minerality
