From magnum, the color here suggests this wine is just beginning to evolve, the nose following suit with a nice mix of savory earth and potting soil notes balanced by relatively powerful red fruit aromas. Gorgeous on the palate, full of spicy red fruit, this is nearly full bodied and quite mouthfilling, very well defined, with red fruit flavors and maybe a suggestion of cola. Ripe but well integrated tannin; medium acidity. Could last in this format for at least another five years.

Lovely deep flavors and elegant texture. Intense but not heavy. Excellent nose which gained complexity over the 2 hours or so the bottle lasted. Much less heavy than other Savoys from Littorai that I have tasted, but no lack of depth or complexity. Drinking very well but no hurry.

Apples and cherries and some oak notes on the nose. Cherry, some blueberry flavors, yet a bit high toned. Has plenty of structure and grip, leaving a elegant impression, if in need of time.

14.4% alc...let this wine aerate for 40 minutes or so...still shy nose, but can get some spicy, darker than cranberry nuances that show just a hint of sweetness...generous palate, gripping texture, dark yet red fruit, dark personality and plenty of acidity...I am going to wait a couple of years two consume the last two bottles.

Has lost a bit of its complexity but still drinking well. On a bit of a downward slope, so drink up!!

Still drinking great. Vibrant red fruit, apple, tobacco, soil, full bodied, bright, and integrated.

Nice red fruits, a little meaty; palate is light bodied, a bit high on the acidity. Ready to drink. 90-91
