  • Nose of slightly musty cherries, slightly earthy, mature tones. In the mouth its cheeries and cherries and cherries. Maybe Balaton Cherries actually.
This wine has lost its tannins, weight and rich fruit and is now medium bodied, soft and mature. Essentially past peak but still delightful. I have one bottle left of the 6 I started with so will wait a couple years more and see how it does.
