Shows an attractive, floral nose that also displays notes of citrus and pineapple. On the palate, this is light and refreshing, offering pleasant flavors of lemon, pear and kiwi fruit and a nice balance between the fruit and acidity. Don't expect too much in the way of varietal character though. If tasted blind I would have guessed this was a Chardonnay or Viognier (but what do I know?). Nonetheless, this is bound to be a crowd pleaser - especially at just $10 a bottle. 50+5+12+14+8=89

Nice floral notes on the nose. A little smoky. Green grass and lemon predominate. Some caramel comes through. Pretty well oaked, probably too much for most. Does lean towards an oaky chard. I like that style. The smoke and acidity assert themselves on the finish.

Ripe, slightly woody nose. Oh boy, this is some horrible stuff on the palate. This is over the top even if it was Chard. Sweet, wretchid. I don't remember it being this bad.

Sweet and fat, a typical - a nearly exaggerated example of the style - this offers big aromatic notes of braised fig, melon, straw and toasted oak. Not a lot of acidity for a wine made from Sauvignon Blanc, this is medium to full bodied and expansive on the palate with a lot of richness and power, but not a lot of finesse.

Tasted at a wine tasting. Hints of citrus, melon and an herbal aspect on the nose. Herbal on the front palate, nice acidity, little of no structure or complexity.

Good Fume for those who like their SB aged in oak--in this case a mix of French and American oak. Aromas of melon and passion fruiit are followed up by an apple and melon palate. Rich, oak and vanilla aftertaste.

Open-textured and a bit more effusive with its fruit than the '07 this offers slightly smoky flavors of banana, ripe melon, and boxwood. Lacks the complexity and focus of its predecessor.

Alison liked it. For $5 from TL this was a steal. Wish they had more.

Nice Calif SB, decent value. Little low on acidity, tilted slightly towards chard

Thoroughly enjoyed. Seems that this fits nicely between Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Smoky nose. Baked apple and citrus notes on the palate. The wine's best feature is its full, long juicy/smoky finish.
