A huge nose of dark fruits and tar and meat, dark black purple in color. A full bodied red blend, with black currants, blackberry, coffee, licorice and spiced meat, good finish, a very interesting and bold wine.

PnV. Did not show much on the first day. Resealed and tried again the next day. Solid claret color. Very old world nose of herbs cedar and a hint of cassis. Medium weight with grippy black tea tannins. Very dry typical Chilean green cedary flavors then red fruits. Short finish. Better with food.

40% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, 30% carignan. This has an incredibly deep colour. The nose is rather closed and oaky. There’s some quite interesting blackberry fruit on the palate. But overall, I find it a touch unrewarding.

Similar notes as last time, nothing distinguishing but a solid bottle with good backbone. Lots of sediment so a decant is recommended.

Consistent with previous note with a little more ripeness to the fruit elements.

Very tannic, some strong fruit, in the end feels simplistic.

Deep dark fruit, chewy tannins. Lots of backbone and should improve with a little age.
