Working myself through the case. Surprising how consistently it has held up, not at all fading, and remaining fruit-forward (after 30 minutes) with tannins receding. Will definitely buy again for everyday.

Nose and initial flavors of cassis and plums. Good length. I have had this wine on several occasions and I think it is beginning to lose fruit. The mid-range is characterized by moderate, non-bitter tannins which are becoming more pronounced over time. I would recommend consuming this wine over the next year or two.

This continues to be an excellent, relatively inexpensive generic Bordeaux. However, it is a bit short in the mid-range and less fruit forward than the 2009 or 2010. I would recommend drinking in the next 3-5 years.

First bottle of a case of everyday Bordeaux. Requires a bit of air, and first notes are slightly un-integrated, with sweet fruit followed by a bit of wood and only light tannins. Came together after an hour. Nothing to write extensively about, but at this price point (16 USD) a nice everyday b-b-que and party wine.

1st Bottle. Solid Bordeaux. Hints of cedar box and tobacco. Pleasant dark fruit. Short finish. (86)
2nd Bottle. Coming on strong. Wood still over powering the fruit. Sweet fruit tannins coming through with tar mid palate. Longer finish than before. Still needs 1-2 years to settle in. (88)

Echos previous note. Excellent generic Bordeaux. Full nose of casis and leather, full mouthfeel with slight tanins in the finish. Good length. Exellent QPR. Recommended.

This is an excellent generic bordeaux. Double decanted and opened about an hour before serving. Rush of casis, mild tanins partly hidden by the fruit; full, sharp mouthfeel; linking flavors. Very slight bitterness in the back of the palate that dissipates with time. Excellent QPR.

drank after 2h decant; light & soft for bordeaux, good value crowd pleaser without much complexity.

Opened for about 2 hours for it to breathe. Casis and cinnamon, fruit and round tanins. Lingering finish.
