This was a great bottle. Some of these have been pre-mox'd but not this bottle. Great example of this full bodied white burgundy. Great winter white! Served with an assortment of French cheese. Delicious

Lunch Cucinetta 20 April 2018: Served alongside the 1998 RP&F CC. Old gold, and with a richer nose of salted honeycomb and candied lemon. More obvious Grand Cru weight than the CC. After an hour, faint touch of hardness shows on the finish. Beautiful wine, to be enjoyed now, don't keep.

With white truffle at Garibaldi. From the moment this was poured, it was clear there was an element of pre-mox. Orange gold. Oxidative nose, with lots of nuts, caramel, sherry, kerosene and damp earth. There was a sourish element to the palate, and the wine was totally devoid of acid, making it clunky and flabby.

Overripe, fat fruit, overripe peach. Slightly oxidative, intense, soft as Evian and also lacking vibrancy. Overripe pineapple as well.
