Served as an aperitif at an offline dinner, and a lovely way to start the night! Really beautiful nose of pear brioche, backed apple with hints of lemon, creamy texture and decent acidity with nice, almost pin point effervescence and a medium finish – very nice indeed

Have historically loved the taste/quality of 1999 but this bottle is clearly on the downside of it's life. Overall structure still present but ... If still in your cellar, would suggest thinking about moving it up towards the front of the "drink now" list.

The nose has definitely taken on a more "aged" personality (not quite petrol), with some citrus notes to round it out. Rich, creamy body offers up a delicious mouthfeel with a bit lower acids, but still enough to leave some crispness in the lingering finish. Really enjoyable and approachable now.

Sweet overtones of pear and citrus. Second sip better than the first. Paired well with grilled figs and cheeses. Great now but believe that it's peaked / peaking. Time to drink is now.

Drank one-half one night and the other half two nights later. Second night was better! Right-on in terms of balance, flavor, bubbles and taste. If had others would hang on to for a while.

Medium gold. On the nose shell, lemon, floral and orange peel. The palate reveals orange peel, lemon, pie crust and candied fruit. On the finish there is a nice chalky quality to the wine. Good texture and I would predict a few more years of enjoyment.

Clear, light straw color. Moderate/strong Chardonnay nose. Nice small bubbles. Classic tasting ubbly. Strong fruit taste with good acid/balance. Smooth, slightly tart, soft edges. Drinking beutifully now. Absolutely nothing off, wish I had more.
