I did not find this full bodied or concentrated or deep like the pro reviews. Strawberries, tart, smooth, just a tad hot. Enjoyable but didn't stand out. $22 at Costco, so not complaining.

Screw cap. No problem with it being corked, also no problem with it being over the hill. Young, bursting with cherry, red raspberry and then finishes with strawberries on the finish. Lively, nicely tart, and is consistent with the other offerings from Rosella's vineyard by other winemakers. Not an elegant or earthy Pinot. Very enjoyable to drink! A strong endorsement for screwcaps.

Creamy smooth fruit explosion. This had some tartness on the finish at first, but that blew off after an hour of breathing. This was very enjoyable tonight. Strawberries and cherries on the nose with no harsh notes or veggies. No impression of excessive alcohol or added varietals to give this more depth. Just good pinot noir flavours. Also, not understanding the previous notes that suggested it's time to drink up. This seems to have a lot of life in it still. Fully mature yes, but no signs of losing it.

Medium-dark red color. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry, coffee, and chocolate. Palate has sweet fruit and some coffee/earth elements that carry into a slightly candied berry finish. Drink.

Black cherry and raspberry fruit in a pretty garnet color. Very smooth mouth feel without the over-the-top plushness. Hints of coffee and soil, with a nice sweet oak finish.
12/6/13 Liked it even better this time. I noted more earthiness and the black cherry seemed more prominent.
2/25/14 Consistent with the last time, I'm really enjoying this wine and glad I have another bottle.

Medium-dark smoky red color with medium transparency. Aromas of smoke, cherry, coffee, and blackberry. Flavors have a mix of ripe fruit and spice notes that lead into a vanilla and maple medium-long finish. Plenty of wood here. As with many Santa Rita Hills/Santa Lucia Highlands pinots, I prefer these in their youth for their full fruit and am not sure that they'll develop in the bottle into something better for my tastes. Drink.

I liked this slightly more than the Gary's but both were very close in terms of quality. Some very pleasing plum and dark berry fruit that had very nice depth.

Purchased off the list at Wood Tavern, Oakland, CA. Pop and pour. Easy drinking with dark fruit notes; light weight in body with noticeable citrus peel and citrus notes with a tangy semi-dry finish. Good to Very Good.

Probably opened it too soon, but it was good after some time. Sweet, almost maple on the nose. Taste: bright cherry. Can't want to try it again in a few years.

Tasty Pinot Noir, but a little bit to hot/bitter for me. Would like more smoothness...

Aromas of jammy red fruits with a hint of black pepper. Smooth tannins with a bit of tartness. Drink now.

OK, but a bit thin. I was hoping for a dense, rich, earthy pinot and expected more at the $25 price point.

Can't get above 88 on this wine after two bottles. Gary's Vineyard is a much better bottle.

No specific notes but a WOW wine from the chute. The nose is not unlike any other good pinot but the palate is gorgeous.
