Peach stone, tart Apple, and a bit of toast. This bubbly wine has well balanced residual sugar and acidity. The nutty yeast is apparent on the nice finish.

Fantastic yeasty/toasty notes mixed with tart apples and citrus, a bit creamy on the finish (which lingers). Nice acidity and balance. And what a bargain... Will buy a few more bottles.

This has evolved. Grapefruit, chalk, lemon, orange peel and good acidity. Good concentration on the palate and finish. Should improve a little bit over time. 91+

great value for a 8 year aged sparkler, found $22-26. Nice lemon, citrus, apple. Dry linger finish. Makes me smile. (#ericasimovchallenge)...but then most good wine does :)

Shockingly good sparkler from a pretty solid budget house. No formal notes, as I was just vibing and enjoying the very solid effort. Finish was a bit harsh, but at that price, how can you quibble? In a blind tasting, this would beat a lot of french Blanc d Noirs.

Color light to medium yellow. A little strange in that the bubbles seemed finer in the glass than they were on the palate. Nose likely has additional complexity from a few years age, with plenty of toast and yeasty bread but also some nuts and remarkable anise notes in addition to the baked apple and citrus fruit. On the tongue juicy Ranier cherries, baked apple, and toasty pie crust. Interesting and high on delicious dimension. Good long 25-30s finish. Group loved it and sucked it down quickly. For 20 bucks, an outstanding value when considering the complexity and fruit.

Refreshing bubbly on a muggy June afternoon. Light yellow in color with a nice mousse and lots of tiny bubbles. Yeasty with some lemon and a mild nuttiness. Delightful!

Golden yellow. Nose exhibits some yeastiness and apple aromas. Palate is very dry with repeated, but muted apple notes plus a hint of vanilla. The mousse is a challenge for me. Not sure how to decribe it but to say that it is not like my favorite Champagnes. It's a bit too fine? I'm looking forward to the Duval-Leroy that is coming next.

Rich - almost sweet. Less agile and angular than in years past.

Rich brioche nose, ripe yellow apple fruit. Acidity fading but still zippy enough. Had with sushi but would hold its own as an aperitif.

This was okay, but for me a bit too simple. I think that the Roederer Estate is better wine for the money
