Lavender is sailing around on clouds of raspberry and plum, there's a touch of spice, garrigue. Mouthwise it's smooth, but the acidity and rich minerality gives this a serious grip. This is pure pleasure, coming at you in a creamy, rich but still relaxed style. Outstanding with food, outstanding on it's own.

Fine Amor delivers again. Ripe raspberry-plummy fruit with warm spicy notes, fresh food-friendly acidity, ironstone minerals, great grip. This time with porc chops on the grill.

Initially very closed (decanted for 2 hrs). Opened up after 3-4 hrs to reveal pure Grenache fruit mixed with spicy Syrah notes. After a day in the bottle (refridgerated), the wine suddently decided to turn into something reminicent of a fairly burnt Pale Ale. How bizarre.

Corks: Mediterranean (Rossford, OH): Cookie spice on the nose - cinnamon, clove, very interesting. Rich, sweet (15% alcohol). Slightly coarse texture. Creamy oak. Chocolate. Very new-world.
