Mineral nose. fruit and acidity is a forefront. The end finishes with some salinity. Its not as powerful as the lechot, but not gentle like the fourchaume, kinda sits in the middle of the two.

Burgundy 2011 Day 2: Visit to La Chablisienne (Chablis, Burgundy): I really liked this too. If the Clos de Lechet was the intellectual younger brother and Fourchaume the charming sister, this was the balanced, sensible, oldest sibling that you would want to have long conversations with. Lovely nose showed lots of detailed mineral scents, almost powdered rocks, with pinpricks of spice and some apple flesh with a sweet lemon lift. With time in the glass, some saline seashell notes floated out. Very nice. On the palate, the wine showed lovely lemony flavours at the attack, lots of purity and braced with the freshest acidity. Through to the midpalate, some green apple floated along a little bed of gentle minerality - lots of quiet power here pushing the wine into a yummy, saline, almost salty, seabreezey finish. It had lovely tension and energy, just lacking some length on the finish, but overall it was such a nice wine that that was rather forgiveable. Not quite a complete wine then, but nice stuff nonetheless.

By the glass at Kokkeriet in Copenhagen. Very soft, with distinct grapefruit and citrus notes. Balanced, with a lingering finish.

Typical with lots of mineral, maybe it hurts a bit too much...?!

One of the more concentrated wines I tasted of this producer. Good minerality, fruity and good acidity. Nice wine.

mineral filled with sunshine florals. Rich apply minerality with quartz reef finish. Approachable but not as deep
