Inky plum with browning rim, nose of ripe plums. Off dry with balancing acid, fruity ripe plums, soft tannins. More like a port light fruit forward style that is not to my tastes, a bit flabby, saved a bit by a good acid component. While I like to support the local wineries, many reds tasted were similar, so the winemaker must like this style. Drink up while the acid lasts. It seems to be a bit more balanced and integrated with another day, plum and cherry fruit. so if you like a simple fruity wine, this should suit your fancy. I would like it priced closer to $10 than $25. Another day and the jammy fruit is becoming integrated with more complex flavors of red berry, raspberry, marionberry and currant. Nice acid with light tannins. I'm starting to like it.

nothing special, muted nose with dark fruit with a pleasant amount of acidity. But one dimensional, and boring.
