  • Inky plum with browning rim, nose of ripe plums. Off dry with balancing acid, fruity ripe plums, soft tannins. More like a port light fruit forward style that is not to my tastes, a bit flabby, saved a bit by a good acid component. While I like to support the local wineries, many reds tasted were similar, so the winemaker must like this style. Drink up while the acid lasts. It seems to be a bit more balanced and integrated with another day, plum and cherry fruit. so if you like a simple fruity wine, this should suit your fancy. I would like it priced closer to $10 than $25. Another day and the jammy fruit is becoming integrated with more complex flavors of red berry, raspberry, marionberry and currant. Nice acid with light tannins. I'm starting to like it.

  • nothing special, muted nose with dark fruit with a pleasant amount of acidity. But one dimensional, and boring.
