Bright mahogany with burnt siena rim. Dank, musty, woody nose full of old leather, caramel, and hints of dried fruit and oxidation. Traces of dried plums, dried cherries, tamarind, tea and plenty of acidity on the palate. This wine is officially on life support, too far gone to gauge its varietal expression. Drink it if you have it.
