Ouillé but with time in the bottle this has developed into a Savagnin oxydatif. Quite nice and fresh still with really good acidity but nothing out of the ordinary in the competition of oh so many nice Jura Savagnins.

Notes of banana on the nose, as well as some herbal notes. Soft mouthfeel. Some acid, and a drier finish. Light golden yellow color in the glass. We enjoyed this bottle immensely and would thoroughly recommend it.

Yelllow color. Bright, sour citrus and peach notes in the smell (and maybe some floral qualities, but faint). Taste is fantastic - very bright, fruity, and complex. Plums, watermelon, the aforementioned citrus & peach, vanilla, yeasty notes... Great stuff. Drink this one by itself to really taste it, to avoid "spoiling it" with food.

Fresh floral scent and faint hint of ripe banana. Full mouthfeel with layers of delicate flavors. Wine opened up after an hour and revealed notes of lilac, burnt orange. Could definitely taste something similar to a fino sherry in the finish, but this wine is so much more than that.

Medium yellow. A blend of citrus and faint oxidative notes on the nose. Full bodied, crisp, fairly similar impression as the aromatics would lead you to believe. Really nice.

Very closed and tightly wound on day one. Second day: Clear, bright and pale yellow with medium concentration and medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is clean with medium intense aromas of apple flesh, lemon custard, and orange peel. Cut straw, cultured butter, and white flowers, and wet chalk complete this wines aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium weight and bright, tangy acidity on the attack. Long complex flavors of peach, apple, and lemon linger on the finish. The designation "ouillé" indicates that the wine was kept fully topped up in barrel during its maturation and this wine shows little of the "goût du jaune" flavor of the region. Definitely a candidate for decanting if to be consumed at this stage. The wine improved dramatically after being open for a day. Drink with butter sautéed chicken breasts and cucumber salad or butternut squash with sage and pinenuts.

Nice expression of the stile. Full of nutty, waxy minerality and enough acid to make your mouth water. Not for everyone, but for me, a delicious interesting wine that will stand out from the crowd.

Opened up after an hour or so. Complex wine that goes well with strong cheese (goat / sheep). Really great.
