A lovely, refined, perfectly mature Burgundy--which even this claret drinker admires. One of my six bottles was corked. The rest were splendid, from good to excellent.

Color: Ruby Smell: Earth, mushrooms, cherries, and strawberries Taste: strawberries, cranberries, and other light red fruit notes Overall: Simple and easy to enjoy. Light body, subtle fruit notes, and good acidity leave me to think this will be good to go in a few more years. delicate and elegant as Pinot is meant to be...but still a tad too simple to be "outstanding"

Excellent! Garnet colored, medium body. Allow to decant for at least two hours. It is really thin and closed at first, but then it blossoms. Nice red fruits on the attack, dark on the finish. Refreshing minerality. Well-balanced. Plenty of acidity, tannins, and structure. Good now, but better if allowed to age. If possible, give it a few years.

From 375mL. Red fruits, earthy spice, sous bois and flowers on the nose. Cranberry and raspberry fruit on the palate, with minerally soil flavors and great acidity. Elegant with lovely balance. A very nice, classic Chambolle. Drink or hold.

Initial aromas: (Riedel Bdx) N: Cherry, huitlacoche, almost spicy fruit (vinegary lift?), rustic savoriness, hint of vanilla (Doug's pinot glasses:) N: More balanced on the nose, rich, savory, and rustic.
Tastes: first round: Beautiful in the mouth. A plush medium body with long, crystalline acidity and lovely fruit on the finish with a touch of pomegranate. Seamless texture, slightly unripe sticky tannins (low+). A beautiful tapestry on the midpalate. 91+pts
Tastes: second round (~15 min later): medium intensity of flavors, pleasant, with a hint of savoriness. 90pts

From a 375ml #1 for Palate and Nose in a group of four.
Color: Ruby
Smell: Rustic, earth notes, mushrooms, bright red fruits
Taste: Sour cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, wild strawberry, and a hint of straw or hay.
Overall: A wonderful bottle of wine that is still so very young but has everything lined up to be something special in another few years. I would gladly buy this again, as I believe that it will improve significantly with time sideways.

I drunk rhe first bottle 2013 and 9 more during the last 6 years ... wish I didn‘t drink the 10 bottles ... it‘s on the top now.
Happy to have 3 more.
