Gloats perfectly balanced fruits, herbs, wood and minerals with a substantial acidic backbone to sustain many years to come. Urbane on all accounts, a truly balanced and well-made wine.

Not decanted - very tight on day 1. Shy on the nose, but definitely a dense, well-extracted Cab. This is normally one of my favorite mid-range, higher-production Cabs from Washington, but this vintage might just need more time. The fact that this was markedly better on day two reinforces that. Still quite good, but not amazing.

Nose is clean, medium + intensity with notes of fruit, floral (green) and secondary (barrell). It is youthful.
Palate is dry, medium acidity, medium body (maybe just a touch less, medium -), tannins are medium -, flavors are intense and pronouced. The finish is medium.
Overall this is a good quality cabernet for its pronouced aromas and balance of body weight and acidity. I believe it will develop further.
It is in a very "elegant" style, which is one that I very much like and enjoy, hence this may be clouding my judgement as to its quality.

This is a very enjoyable drink with dark fruit, well integrated oak, and rounded tannins. This is definately a more feminine take on cabernet sauvignon - medium-bodied, not over-extracted, with balanced oak. There is solid acidity to prop up the lovely fruit, and the finish had good length. Overall, this wine represents an excellent value for someone who wants an honest representation of the grape at a reasonable price.

Purple, grapey perfume almost over-doing it and straying into prune. But holding back from going there and instead being nicely "candied" fruit in character. Soft and elegant across the palate, lively delivery. Well done at $25 or so.

If I was into the comparison a very "femine" styled cabernet. But more precision: high aromatics with some green, but a wonderful sweet green. Deft oak, sweet fruits, cleansing finish. Beautiful, easy going cabernet.

Tobacco of WA fruit. With evergreen and spearmint, just opened too. Fleshy, juicy attack. Clipped with some force is what pops into my mind. Maybe needs time? I hate to disregard it but the acids override the fruit just a bit to my palate. Could have used it sweeter? I sound like such a hoser. At $20 gives a good sense of WA fruit. But my preference would be for Dusted Valley.

So pretty, so perfumed, who makes cabernet this low in alcohol anymore?
