Damn. This is insane. Initially there is potent cedar/cigar and funk with leather, which blows off quicky but is totally desirable. Reminds me of a Port Ellen whiskey but in wine form. Rich and dense with subdued black fruit that gets bigger and more opulent with some air time. Dusty tannins and delicious berries await. I love this wine.

This was one of the better 15 year old wines I've ever had. The fruit was dark and mature but not leather. There was a solid structure holding everything together. There was some sludge on the side of the bottle, but the filter was remarkably with clean some sugar crystals on the decanter and glasses. It got better through dinner. At 15% I don't know how long it's got left, but it's doing great now.

This is a very enjoyable ps. Loads of dark fruit, herbacious and floral tones. The tannins are still present but well rounded. Drinking well now but could easily improve over the next few years. Agree with another reviewer that the depth and character don't seem to have fully developed (and may not), but this is very very good.

Ageing gracefully this PS is still quite young. Should hold for at least another 5 years. What's diappointing about this wine is that it isn't gaining any complexity during it's middle age.

TYPICAL TURLEY..INCREDIBLY RICH FRUIT IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR, DEEP BERRIES, ENORMOUS FLAVOR IN THE MOUTH, LAYERS AND LAYERS OF FRUIT, NICE COMPLEXITY AND A LONG FINISH.

Great. Big wine, needs lots of time. Excellent pure ripe fruit on the nose and palate.

With age, this wine is surprisingly elegant - who knew petite could be so sophisticated!

Inky black, phenomenal depth and structure, still holding back a little even after 13+ years. A truly decadent and enjoyable wine.

Much more mellow than in its younger days. This 10 year old PS is now showing more violets and spice rather than huge fruit and tannins. Drink up.
