I don't know if this is an off bottle, bad wine or extremely closed down. Little cherry fruit and forest floor on the nose. Some dirty cherry flavor on the palate. Short finish. Will drink it because I am too tire to go back downstairs for another bottle. Maybe air will help.

On the nose there's wet forrest wood, young cherries, cocoa powder & streak of cassis ~ On the palate it's medium bodied with moderate acidity & moderate + tannins and flavors of cherry, black liquorice, black currants & vanilla ~ It's bright & lively with good length

13.0% alcohol. Red cherry color. Gorgeous nose of very pure, tight red cherry fruit that just draws you in. Lurking floral and spice notes. In the mouth, linear and just delicious, with focused, laser-like cherry fruit that is achingly pure. There's good floral and spice support, with bright acidity. A juicy, moderately tannic finish. Terrific. A-

Just fine, though not too exciting for the money. I realize one often needs to spend more than this in burgundy, but this felt more like a 20 bottle than over 30...

Not bad but once again over priced by Scott Paul at 35 bucks. I see the single vineyard Pavelots going for 28 now. This is a good wine, a bit hard and lean now, could use some time. Aromatically it doesn't reveal much.

Shut down at the moment. Very tight, little to no fruit coming through. Should learn from this and leave them be for the time being...

Drinking really well at the moment, though clearly young. Nice red fruits on the nose, firm structure through the finish. Pretty great for the money.

Bright and fruity. Medium-bodied. Chalky tannins, with a hint of oak. Almost citrus-y. Cherry and strawberry. Very good.

Medium to high toned red fruits, enough acidity to keep the wine very fresh but not to make it difficult to drink. Very nice bottle of wine.

Nice enough, but closed, a bit hard. Could use 2-3 years in the cellar. Floral smell, clear color, a bit simple on the palate. Not long.

A lot of earth, some dark fruit and a steely character to it. A little thin in the middle but not a bad effort over all. Still a bit young.

Light berry nose, with strong brushy, earthy notes. Simple and light in the mouth. Can't say that I recommend this for value.
