Village Red Burgundy (Piccolo Forno): Surprisingly complex nose with red fruit, spice, mint, earth, excellent depth; palate is light bodied, excellent red fruit, lovely balanced acidity, good complexity and depth; medium finish. This is superb for its level. 91-92

Serious village! Nose sports lovely stems, earth, souis - bouis, minerals, fine cherries. Palate is silky, long, fine fruit, depth, minerals, earth, spices, licorice, stems, with a very fine streak of refreshing acidity. Very, very good. Overachieving for its level, the 2008 vintage again speaks and shows how good it is. (91 – 93)

Knightsbridge Holiday Burgundy Sale (Northbrook, IL): Black fruit, doesn't quite seem perfectly ripe, but does have some rough edges.
