Awesome full-bodied, rich Cab. Showing extremely well right now with loads of dark fruit and supple tannins, but can be aged for a few more years. A very BIG wine. Wish I had more. PJP 2019.

Too sweet and jammy (at least for my taste) without anything to offset the burst of sugar. Tannins were muted. I would not expect a long life ahead for this effort.

This is my last BV Juliet 2007. I had one recently and was feeling low on big CA wines, so I went and found some BV Reserve. I'm looking forward to trying it. Meanwhile this had the same TN as the last one. Good fairly straight forward CA big wine. Lots of blue fruit, broad backbone of integrated tannin and really easy to drink. Drinking well now and has a few more years left.

I had this on a train coming back from a long day in NY, with a friend, so the note is more about experience than technicalities! Very integrated, large, big mouth feel wine, which is totally ready to drink and will last a few more years yet. Very enjoyable, blue fruit with some earth and long finish. A good amount of oak, that the fruit easily handled. Couldn't be anything else but Cali.

Least favorite vintage of Juliet but something about napa, Sonoma and Mendocino red wines is off to my palate - perhaps the fires before harvest? This is a fine wine and they did a very good job in a difficult year - was a pleasure and only 'last" in comparison to the other vintages of Juliet. All such wonderful wines!

Good nose of dark fruits, black currant, glycerin and hints of violets. Alcohol is a bit overpowering on the tongue but still surrenders a long finish. A bit of a fruit bomb but I thinks time will settle this one down.

The wine looks inky colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral, dust, toast, espresso and chocolate. It tastes like black currant (cassis), blackberry, dust, mineral, wet leather -old trunk, espresso and toast. The body is full. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity. This wine could easily go another 4-5 years - but why wait.

P&P. Best showing to date for this wine. Classic Napa cabernet nose of cassis and bell pepper. Some notes of anise also. Very smooth mouthfeel with medium body. Blackcurrant fruit with notes of chocolate. Nice balance with good fruit intensity and good acidity. Short to moderate finish with integrated tannins. May have a little improvement left but still probably best consumed over the near term.

Popped and poured. Consistent with previous TN. Picked up notes of chocolate and mocha with this bottle along with the slightly sweet cassis driven fruit profile. Creamy texture with plenty of fruit. Don't think this wine is going to reach the levels i once thought it might. Very nice though.

Was surprised at all the nice notes on this wine, I was not a fan. Decanted for 2+ Hrs and was really just kind of a jammy, over oaked, alcoholic mess. It did get a little better at the end of the night or my score would have been in the 70's. Not my style.

Popped and Poured. Consistent with previous notes. Plenty of black and blue fruits with notes of cassis and a little anise and tobacco. Medium finish with soft tannins. Very approachable right now with just a little air. May be best over the near term.

A good but unremarkable wine and certainly overpriced for what it delivers. Dark fruit shows a bit more like Sonoma than Napa. A good balance between tannins and fruit make this very drinkable now.

nice wine. popped and poured at dinner with my in laws....good fruit if slightly flabby relative to what a great cab would show. Reasonable value in the $40's

Reminds me of the regular release Caymus...maybe a bit more complex...but very nice first taste, the nose seems to be "older" than the wine, if that makes sense...I know of nothing else from California at this price point...I haven't seen other vintages however?

Deep ruby color. Opulent and hedonistic with tons of dark fruits and glycerin. Definitely a fruit driven wine and does not have the earthiness of Bordeaux (a style comment). Cabernet but with Merlot softness. Still young but with an hour or two in the decanter it is drinking well now. Loved it.

Incredibly dark center, dark rim fading to purple/red, no signs of age. Sweet, cassis, alcohol, ripe, sweet, creamy (really), brambles, spicy. Smooth, sweet, glycerine, plums and then darker berries, very modest tannins and acidity, very creamy leading into a good long finish. Impressive Napa cab, seem designed for early drinking, rich, sweet, designed to please - which it does, not my usual style of wine, but impressive nevertheless. The alcohol is a little over the top, but not the worst I've encountered.

Decanted 1 hour. Consistent with previous TN. Continues to integrate. Drinking very nicely with concentrated dark fruit. Well balanced with a 30 second finish. Tannins are quite soft at this point.

Decanted 1 hour. This has integrated and improved over the course of the last year. Nice dark berry fruit on the nose with some mint and anise. Full bodied but not heavy with a dark berry fruit profile. Smooth and refined with nice balance. Still shows some vanilla oak but this is now much more integrated. 30 second finish with some moderate tannins. Shows good structure and is maybe a little more austere than previous vintages. This is evolving very nicely and seems like it is going to improve further. Already extremely good and drinking well with a little air but i think this will be outstanding in 2-3 years. Glad i have a case to follow this wine with! (91+ pts).

Opaque, almost black in color. Drank at Dan's, popped and poured. Very tannic, heavy oak and border-line astringent at this stage. Based on the concentrated structure, this needs 3-5 years of cellaring at minimum. Has the makings of a powerful, volumptous, serious cab.

Deep, dark purple in color. Strong nose of wood / oak. On first taste, lots of wood and dense, cocentrated dark fruits. Modest tannin. Let it sit in the fridge for a couple days and the tannins softend a bit. I am not great at young wines, but I will drink my next bottle after at least another three years to let the oak integrate in.

this is not a 94-pt wine as Parker says. Sweet, lush, fruity and young. Ok wine if thats what you are looking for (although why not just pick up a $20 shelf Merlot?) but not a lot of depth.

Decanted 1 hour. Very dark purple in color with blackberry and cassis on the nose. Full bodied with lots of ripe black fruit and prominent vanilla oak. Rich mouthfeel and a 45 second finish with smooth tannins. This is very young and primary with a bit too much oak showing right now for my taste. Should settle down and integrate of the next couple of years and develop into an outstanding wine. Probably not a long term ager but should drink well for several years once it comes around.

Impressive dark rich cab, nice balance. I suspect this was made to drink early, unusual for such a rich cab at least in my experience. After the first 6 bottles disappeared over the holidays I bought another case and will try to spread out the consumption a bit. Enjoyed and surprised some friends during NFL week 16.
