Had this at a tasting, and had another tonight. Nose had some light oak, butter, and some lemon. The body was medium bodied, wonderful acidity, light buttery taste, light sweetness, lemon, pear, tart apple, bitter citrus, slight funk, and very, very long finish. One of the better whites I've had in a long time.

The last bottle must have been off somewhat, as this bottle showed much better and was quite pleasant. Very citrus on the taste buds, worked great with cheese and liver pate. Very enjoyable. I have one left, hope to save it for a few years, but I doubt it will last that long, maybe I will buy more.

France 2011 - Côte d'Or; 7/8/2011-7/13/2011 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. Fresh nose of citrus fruits with hints of toasty oak and pit fruit. Palate offers flavours of citrus, mainly lime, with medium to high acidity and a fairly long finish. Freshest and most vibrant wine so far. Could use a few years but quite enjoyable now. Very good. 89+

for some reason this wine did not show as well as the tasting I went to featuring Gambal wines. Will reserve score until I try again. Possibly wine was served too cold.
