Very pale straw color. An oaky, burnt popcorn on the nose makes you think they've overdone the malo with this, but only 10% of the wine is aged in French oak and undergoes malolactic fermentation. The results are noticeable on the palate that is much more fresh and alive with acidity then the nose suggests. Big notes of jalapeno and tart citrus are joined by more subtle hints of green grass. The mouthfeel is zippy and lively, but still has a certain amount of weight. Very different interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc.

Great SB for the price, widely distributed. A nice change from the NZ style grassy version, more lush, juicy. Nose of citrus and kiwi; ripe grapefruit , melon in mouth. Nice finish with good acidity. Drinks well by itself, pair with moderate acidic foods. Or a perfect bottle of white for Thanksgiving

A good SB which is great for a warm day. Straw color with a hint of lemon and honeysuckle. Medium legs, which is a surprise.

A crisp SB with unique character and a nicely enhanced acidity. Drank without food.

Perfectly nice Sonoma SB, with aromas and flavors of mown hay, lemon pith, and stone.
