Tons of fruit the first night. Didn't get a chance to finish, so had the rest the second night. Fruit was still there - as was much more vanilla, which was a welcome addition.

For the closeout price this was a bargain for sure. Not as full and spicy as is expected in a Shiraz, but the dark color was beautiful and the bouquet was dark fruit and earthy. Tasted like a Shiraz/Cab/Merlot blend. Very good but lacked finish.

This wine is a great every day drinker, and one of the best QPR syrahs out on the market. The nose and palate both betray spicy blackberry fruit, with a nice balance of acidity and tannin. As the back label asserts, this wine has a nice balance between fruit and freshness.

Powerful berries and mouth feel. Pretty good for the price. Ran through venturi into the glass. Helped to calm it down a it. Coats the tounge and has the classic shiraz glycerin feel. Hope it will settle a bit with a little time.

The "nose" comes across briefly of the fruitiness to come but is quickly taken over by the heat of the high alcohol content. No worries as the taste is sweet and fruit forward with a blend of cherry and plum. Well balanced tannins with a touch of spice and heat on the quick finish.
While not a WOW! wine, this is a very good QPR for $10 or less a bottle. I'd consider buying more.

Did a blind taste with my wife. (She has a more discerning pallet than I do). Immediately she said this wine seemed very fruity. Almsost a fruit bomb with lots of cherries. Upon tasting, the tannins were very light and the wine very crisp and refreshing. This was truly a great wine. Furthermore, the fact that this was a 7 dollar wine was truly astounding. Absolutel\y the best $7 bottle of wine I have ever tasted.

A; Dark red and purple. Jewel tones N: Strawberry and hay. SKUNK (this is always a good sign for us) Big berrires woody and earthy. T: Sweet fruitiness. Pleasant but not storybook material. F: Long pleasant and delicate. Wine is like a cabaret (not Cabernet) both masculine and feminine at the same time and dancing. Overall: Very good but a bit syrupy. Woodynes and berries. Flattened out after about an hour opened. V:5/5

Ultra-ripe with simple and grape-y flavors of plum and black pepper, this offers some appeal as a 'by the glass' wine, but lacks stucture, tannin and depth on the midpalate to be much more.

Easy-drinking, with nice ripe fruit but I found it to be flabby and lacking in structure. Even after opening up over and hour or two, there's little acidity or tannin to give the wine much depth, and it ends up falling flat after the initial red and black fruit notes. The Razor's Edge Shiraz-Grenache possesses a bit more of what this one lacks.

This was really very disappointing. While I didn't have very high expectations, the complete lack of structure, fruit, and anything coming close to resembling an Australian Shiraz makes this wine noteworthy for being such a complete failure. And, no, this wasn't a flawed bottle.

Very dark purple, nearly black in color. Aroma of alcohol, dark berries, smoke, earthy minerals and stone. Dark berry (like cooked blackberries in a blackberry pie) and tannic up front, almost astringent. Salty. Decanted almost 2 hours before pairing with Chinese Beef Pepper Steak and Veggies. A pretty plain wine that didn't add much to dinner.

WOW...this is amazing juice. The earth explodes in the first taste and lingers...lingers. Deep, immense. After going through a bunch of more expensive 84 point wines, this is a HUGE improvement...and TOTAL bargain!

Decent fruit on the nos and palate, with slight spice on the finish, but seemed watered down to me. Not what I expected.
