Still drinking extraordinarily well. PnP at a restaurant. Bright fruit with appealing acidic structure at first, integrating in and allowing a smooth, soft earthiness as it opened. The last sip was the best, making me think that a bit of decanting would have allowed for improvement. This has a couple years left to evolve.

Brought to a restaurant. PnP. Focused more on the conversation than the wine. What I recall thinking was that for an 08 it would benefit from a few more years in the cellar. Showed best later that night at home when it was finished off.

Truly excellent wine now and for 3 years. Suggested pairing to be Chicken or Pork with light tangy sauté. Open 2 bottles I let it breath for 1 hour you will wish you had if you do not.

Ultra fruity bouquet and profile. Concentrated, reasonably well balanced, although alcohol shows fairly prominently. New World all the way.

The Lyon 10 Year Tasting: 2008 Oregon Pinot Noir (Lyon Den): This bottle had an open nose, deep fruit, lush texture and a big backbone. Very enjoyable! No fall off on day 2, and drinkable day 3.
