Past its prime for any fruit really- drank from the bottle- no decant, opened an hour before really getting into it- reductive nose that faded after time to black cherry, dried red fruits, and earth. In the mouth, the wine is full bodied, fuzzy, dusty tannin and tart fruit acid- lacking fruit and a mid palate- a little harsh. I think this would have been much better 5-10 years ago.
