Pnp. What a magnificent wine. Every bottle seems better than the previous. Gorgeous deep yellow hue. It has continued to age gracefully in the cellar taking on complexity and depth and long deep finish.

Hard to pin down - it oscillated between really cool lanolin and pollen notes with bright acidity and freshness to metallic and harsh with oxidation and volatile acidity-like aspects.

Wow, couldn't be more different than the bottle I had five years ago! That's Pepe for you. If anything, this is even fresher and brighter, with a piercing acuity and powerful aromatics that don't really qualify as a scent so much as a vertiable stench. A good part of that is sulfur but there's plenty else going on besides.

K did not like. I found it very interesting. Hard to describe, as I'd never had a full bodied trebbiano before and was not familiar with the flavors. Certainly glad we tried it.

Better than the last bottle but nothing like the wine I had in Venice. Deep yellow color with beeswax, acacia and oxidized aromas. Fresher in the mouth with somewhat oily, nicely extracted fruit. This wine was a bit oxidized but actually improved over the course of the meal.

A disappointment. A little oxidized but still had good fruit and acidity and some complexity. I am hoping this is an off bottle. Nothing like I had in Venice last year.

At Lupa. Brassy color turning cloudy and nearly opaque towards the end of the bottle. This smells very unusual--predominantly of sweat and a gamey decay, with pine needles and honey lurking in the background to make it more appetizing. It's far more refined on the palate, combining red fruits like cherries with papaya and lemon iced tea, but distinguished most by its impressive roundness, an oily, viscous texture with very little perceptible acid. Wait til the end of the summer to drink this one.

Terrific showing of this wine. Enticing bouquet and color. Fruit, acidity and minerality are in perfect harmony. One of Italy’s finest white wines.

The best bottle by far of the 3 I have opened. Much fresher and more complex than the 2 prior bottles without much of the oxidation.
