Amazing. Big nose. Slight mustiness at first that blew off. Dark fruits. Nice structure/acid. Big in the mouth. Still tannic. This seemingly has years ahead of it and it's 13 years old and $14.

Very complex, not too pleasing nose - oak, alcohol, mossy notes. Full mouthfeel, just a bit of heat. There's a real depth of flavor - deep fruit, good acidity, abundant soft tannins. A lot going on with this wine. Not like anything I've tasted before. Believe it will keep for a while. Worth trying.

Anita: A little black tar & coffe on the nose, with underlying blackberry; rich aromas can withstand hint of sweet oak; Great big, soft mth, tons of t’s, Lots of alcohol (only 14%); earthy character, dusty, a big powerful bruiser w/macho earth and darkness.Bravo. From Jeff

Deep ruby color. Bright nose of mulberry and boysenberry fruit, licorice, oak and alcohol. On the palate it is full bodied with good balance and fine tannins. The finish drops off a bit. With some air, bitterness comes out on the nose.

Deep red -- almost opaque. Nose of leather and meat with plummy notes. Ripe and smooth midpalate of red fruit with very smooth tannis and balanced acidity. Great QPR for a kobe beef hamburger dinner.

Dark, ripe, and luscious. Aromas of ripe fruit and cinnammon combine with a creamy and rich mouth feel to make a delicious wine. Fantastic for the price.
