Vin carafé une heure Robe rouge foncée, nez sur les fruits rouges Bouche ample mais les tannins ne sont pas tout à fait fondus. Arômes complexes mais des notes de gibier, de fruits rouges et de bois émergent. Un très bon vin mais à attendre quelques années de plus. Rq : dans mon cas, vu que le bouchon présentait des traces de vin presque jusqu'au sommet, attendre plus longtemps aurait été risqué

Decanted 2 hours. Seems to be putting on weight. It is certainly not massive or layered, but all the same it appears to have more authority in the mouth. Might benefit from a few years more. - Three days later the second half is wonderfully soft and fragrant (olives, herbs, black fruits), and in terms of taste very harmonious, with little apparent tannin for a nebbiolo drunk with food.

Before a Sottimano Curra 2004. - Complex and fragrant, there is iron, fuel and caramel as well as roses. Although certainly less of a mouthful than the Sottimano Curra (which has 14,5 % alcohol), it seemed less light than the first time. Elegant and beautiful it is. In terms of style I prefer it to the Sottimano - and am happy that I have two more bottles.

First half (decanted and drunk within an hour): Beautifully fragrant nose which evolves from blueberries to dust and pronounced roses. Light-bodied, airy, very harmonious and with little tannin apparent when drunk with food. But then you wouldn't want a beauty to be a heavy-weight, would you? -- Second half (poured into a half-bottle and recorked) the following day; decanted 2+ hours. Hints of blood, caramel, licorice and higher alcohols in the nose; still very much the same light taste, fine-grained, silky, more acidity than tannin. Perhaps not great but certainly lovely.
