Nice wine that got better with more air time. Popped and poured through venturi, was a bit tight at first, but then over time, more aromatic and better taste. Medium body, short/medium finish, with time, more integrated. Deep and dark, dark fruits, some spice. As mentioned, good, but not great

Did a side by side comparison of this with the Alexandria Nicole 2008 Destiny Estate (68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec, 5% PV, and 2% Carmenere). Both are made from the same grape varieties but in differing proportions. Both were very nice. Our group preferred the bigger structure of the Duck Press Red (62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 6% Malbec, and 2% PV).

Smokey taste. Initial aroma hinted that it might have gone bad. But with some air, was very pleasant

Very nic ebordeaux blend. Cassis, cherry, hint of vanilla. Medium palate. Sweet subtle tannins on the finish.
